SPIN®

Sarah Fechter Fitness is an official licensed Spinning® facility; all instructors are Madd Dogg certified. All SPIN® classes run for 50 minutes. Spinning® improves cardiovascular health, muscular strength and endurance, and speed. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to class start for bike set up.

Strength & Conditioning

This class focuses on a variety of strength training components/methods such as muscular strength, endurance, conditioning, stimulation, growth, and metabolic function using resistance bands, free weights, body weight, and more.

Ass-thetics

A glute & core focused class with remedial work for arms, shoulders, extensors, scap health and more.

Athletic Conditioning

An athletic style cardiovascular option for the “non-dancer.” 50 minutes of conditioning drills and movements improving speed, agility, vertical jumps, fat loss, and metabolic function. You’ll experience high caloric burn and increased EPOC stage post workout. If you love this class, you’ll also love Plyometrics and the SF Games.

Barbells & Bands

Barbell resistance using moderate to heavy weight and a variety of bands to diversify your training . We focus on endurance, strength, and a high heart rate for fat loss and a nice lean physique.

Bikes & Barbells

​Alternating rounds of SPIN with moderate-weight Barbells for a heart pumping, fat burning, strength and cardio combo. This class is great for cardiovascular endurance, muscular/core strength, and improved coordination. Love this class? Boxing + Strength Intervals

Muscular endurance drills mixed with Boxing intervals to achieve your target heart rate and torch calories. Think mean, lean, fighting machine! This class improves core strength, muscular endurance, and cardiovascular health. If you enjoy this class you will also love Strength & Conditioning, SPIN®/Box, and Glutes, Guns, & Core.

Functional Training & Mobility

A movement- based full-body approach to restore limited movement and increase performance. Functional training improves your body's ability to work efficiently as one unit. By training multiple muscle groups at the same time, you are helping your body function better as a whole. You're training it to be a system and not just individual parts that work independently. Mobility drills focus on tight muscles, soft tissue restriction, joint capsule restriction, and joint range of motion dysfunction. When mobility is incorporated into your training regimen, progressions are improved in all other components of fitness. 

SPIN®/Box

A combination of SPIN® and basic boxing techniques such as jabs, hooks, upper cuts, etc. Sarah Fechter Fitness is an offical Spinning® Madd Dogg Athletics certified facility; all instructors are Madd Dogg certified. Health and physical improvements include cardiovascular efficiency, muscular strength and endurance, speed, and power. Love this class? Similar options include SPIN® and  Strength/Box.

SPIN®/Core/TRX®

A 20/20/20 split of SPIN®, isolated core work, and TRX® (see individual descriptions of SPIN & TRX). Please arrive 15 minutes prior to class start for bike set up and band explanation.

STEP + Strength Intervals

Intervals alternating STEP aerobic routines and strength training with free weights. If you're looking for a fun class that provides improved cardiovascular health / aerobic endurance, increased strength, and balance/coordination techniques, this is the one for you. If you enjoy this class, you'll also love Turbo Kick/Strength and Boxing & Barbells!

Strength Circuit

This class focuses on a variety of strength training components/methods such as muscular strength, endurance, conditioning, stimulation, growth, and metabolic function using resistance bands, free weights, and body weight in a circuit style set up.

TRX®

Bodyweight suspension training; great for athletes (sport specific training) and exercisers of all ages. TRX® offers over a thousand exercises to develop a lean physique, strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously. All Sarah Fechter Fitness instructors are TRX® certified.
